DC fans were delighted to get Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of ‘Justice League’ on HBO Max last week with the original editing. The 4-hour version garnered the attention of 1.8M US households over its release weekend March 18. Now, a ‘gray’ version of the film is coming to the streamer.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League tweeted an all-black-and-white trailer of the film over the weekend saying “Justice is Gray Coming Soon to @HBOMax.”

It’s understandable that people are excited about DC superhero movies, but re-releasing Justice League for a third time, just through a monochromatic color lens seems a little redundant.

There are no details on when the film will hit the streaming service, or whether “Justice is Gray” will have any extra footage or just be the exact movie in black and white.
