Hasbro Entertainment and Get After It Media have joined forces to introduce a new linear television channel called Hasbro Legends, which will bring a wide array of iconic entertainment brands to audiences across the United States. The channel is set to launch on Get After It Media’s national broadcast network, making it available in more than 70 million homes from the outset. This partnership marks a significant step in expanding the reach of Hasbro’s beloved intellectual properties through traditional broadcast television while also planning for broader availability on streaming platforms.

The new channel will showcase programming drawn from Hasbro’s rich portfolio of franchises that have entertained generations of fans. Among the highlights will be classic series featuring characters and stories from G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, Transformers, My Little Pony, and Jem and the Holograms. These heritage brands have long been staples in toys, games, animation, and live-action productions, and the channel aims to deliver them directly to viewers in a dedicated broadcast environment.

Get After It Media, a multi-platform broadcast and streaming company, will oversee the distribution and monetization of the channel across over-the-air and free ad-supported streaming television formats. This unified approach is designed to create an efficient ecosystem that combines linear television with digital streaming options. The company is also preparing to integrate the content into its upcoming owned and operated digital platform known as Heartland Plus, further extending accessibility for audiences who prefer on-demand viewing.

Hasbro Entertainment serves as the content development and production division of Hasbro, focusing on leveraging the company’s extensive collection of brands for film, television, animation, and digital projects. Through this initiative, the organization continues its strategy of meeting consumers where they are by expanding into broadcast television at a large scale. Hasbro itself has a long history spanning more than 165 years as a leader in games, toys, and intellectual property. The company reaches over one billion fans worldwide each year through various entertainment formats, including physical and digital products as well as licensed merchandise.

The launch of Hasbro Legends comes amid Hasbro Entertainment’s active slate of content development. The division has numerous projects underway, such as reimaginings of classic properties like Clue for both film and television formats in collaboration with Sony Pictures. Additional efforts include a live-action Dungeons and Dragons series in development for Netflix, a Monopoly film produced with LuckyChap and Lionsgate, and an animated Magic the Gathering series currently in production at the same streaming service. Other notable endeavors encompass a live-action Power Rangers television series heading to Disney Plus, a My Little Pony live-action film with Amazon MGM Studios, and various game shows based on Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble that have secured renewals.

This collaboration represents an innovative move in the evolving media landscape, where traditional linear channels continue to play a role alongside streaming services. By securing a substantial footprint in American households through broadcast distribution, Hasbro Legends has the potential to introduce or reintroduce younger generations to these timeless characters and narratives. Fans who grew up with these properties will have the opportunity to revisit them, while new viewers can discover the adventures that have defined popular culture for decades.
