Hallmark Media Appoints Olushola Bodie as SVP & Head of Technology

Olushola (“Lusha”) Bodie, previously known for his 25-year career at Hallmark Global as vice president of the technology digital workforce, has now been announced as the senior vice president & head of technology at Hallmark Media. He reports directly to Chief Operations officer, Sabrina Wiewel.

Hallmark Media is continuously evolving, and Bodie is now charged with evaluating and implementing the massive company’s broad technical vision. Furthermore, he oversees day-to-day IT and technical operations. His oversight includes him developing and managing annual and long-term operating and capital budget plans across the IT and technology functions of Hallmark Media. 

Sabrina Wiewel states with kindness: “With a strongly established understanding of Hallmark’s brand values and corporate culture, Lusha is able to hit the ground running, ensuring consistency in the technology services we provide to our workforce, consumers, and partners.” 

Bodie’s previous position held him responsible for the oversight of all IT strategy and core operational support service across Hallmark Inc.’s international footprint. “He is a multifaceted and technology executive, and as we look to the future and continue to evolve, his intelligence, kindness, and passion for strategic problem-solving will prove invaluable in this critically important role.” Wiewel concludes.

Owned and operated directly by Hallmark Cards, Inc., Hallmark Media is the provider of the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama. They feature original content, including movies, scripted series, and annual specials. They are also widely recognized for their annual holiday celebration Countdown to Christmas, which features a 24/7 lineup of their holiday programming. 

As the new senior vice president & head of technology at Hallmark Media, Bodie will oversee every and all things Hallmark-related. He is a passionate advocate for children, having served as a board member for an organization that provides adaptive equipment for children with developmental disabilities. Bodie is the proud father of an 11-year-old daughter, Jayla and he’s a University of Oklahoma alumni.
