The Hallmark Channel’s Fall Harvest Programming Begins September 21

Hallmark Channel is bringing back its annual “Fall Harvest” programming event, full of heartwarming stories and special events.

From Saturday, September 21, through Saturday, October 19, five all-new, original movies will premiere on Hallmark Channel. Also in the lineup are two special programs that are part of the network’s Adoption Ever After initiative that raises awareness for pet adoption and celebrates the joys four-legged friends bring to our lives (included in the schedule below).

While celebrating the new season, Hallmark Channel will also be preparing for the 10th anniversary of “Countdown to Christmas.” The 2019 Countdown to Christmas Preview Special will air after the Fall Harvest programming, on Saturday, October 19 (10:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Here’s the full lineup of Fall Harvest programming:

‘OVER THE MOON IN LOVE’
A Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Saturday, September 21 (9 p.m. ET/PT)
Stars: Jessica Lowndes, Wes Brown

Brooklyn (Lowndes), owner of the matchmaking service Over the Moon in Love, hasn’t seen Devin (Brown), a singer-songwriter, since high school. While their chemistry is instant, Brooklyn is focused on landing the cover of Life/Style by finding Stephanie, the magazine’s writer, a match. Putting her 100% success rate on the line, Brooklyn matches Stephanie with Devin but they have nothing in common. Determined, Brooklyn feeds lines to Stephanie guaranteed to capture Devin’s heart, and it works! Too bad Brooklyn has just realized she’s in love with Devin. Admitting the match is a sham, Brooklyn risks losing the magazine cover and, more importantly, Devin.

Nicole (Anderson) has plans to expand her family’s Northern California olive oil business until childhood crush Jake Brandini (Hollingsworth), heir apparent to the neighboring ranch and her biggest competitor, discovers the land where Nicole wants to build on may belong to his family, stemming from a decades-long feud since their grandfathers ended their partnership.  When a local judge decides to resolve the dispute by awarding it to the winner of the upcoming olive oil competition, the flames are further fanned between the families, but Nicole and Jake begin to find common ground and a romance develops as the big competition looms.

Struggling Nashville musician Shayna (Schram) is on the verge of giving up on her career and returns to her small-town home, when a chance encounter with prolific songwriter Grady (Matter) changes everything. He’s trying to write a song for country music star Duke Sterling and Shayna seems like the perfect writing partner.  The two grow closer and romance blooms as they work on their love song, but when Shayna meets Duke, who takes a liking to her and asks her to be his opening act, it undermines everything she and Grady created and Shayna feels forced to choose between love and possible stardom.

Cassie receives an unexpected visit from her college roommate Autumn Deveraux (Lolita Davidovich), who harbors resentment toward Cassie over a past event.  Cassie relies on her magical instincts to help Autumn through her unresolved feelings before she sabotages Middleton’s celebrations.  Martha plans a bonfire to honor the season and tries to ignore her husband’s failure to recognize the anniversary of their engagement on Halloween night.  Bad luck seems to thwart Sam’s attempts to plan a romantic Halloween for Cassie since it’s their first as a married couple, despite the arrival of a mysterious good luck charm.  Donovan makes a wager with Abigail over the Halloween-themed triathlon he is racing against Sam, with the winner earning the rights to decide the couple’s Halloween plans.  Stephanie and Adam rally the town to break a pumpkin carving record held by Blairsville.  Meanwhile, George and Nick search for Middleton’s mythical sea monster.  As the bonfire nears, Cassie works her magic to help Autumn overcome the past and take control of her future.

‘THE LOVE OF DOGS BENEFIT CONCERT – PRESENTED BY HALLMARK CHANNEL AND PEDIGREE’

Starring: Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes, Easton Corbin, Larissa Wohl

Hallmark Channel and Pedigree Foundation team up to help the millions of shelter and rescue dogs across the country find loving homes.  The event brings together country artists Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes and Easton Corbin for the benefit concert at the Country Music Hall of Fame CMA Theater. Hosted by Hallmark Channel’s own Larissa Wohl, the special will help raise much needed grant funds for Pedigree Foundation as part of Hallmark Channel’s Adoption Ever After initiative.  The initiative has helped over 35,000 pets find their forever homes.

‘2019 AMERICAN HUMANE HERO DOG AWARDS’

Wednesday, October 23 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT)
Co-hosts: Beth Stern, James Denton

Tales of canine heroism, courage, emotional support and guide work provide a heartwarming and moving evening as canine finalists in the categories of Law Enforcement/Arson, Guide/Hearing, Military, Search and Rescue, Service, Shelter and Therapy dogs are celebrated for their contributions.  The 2019 American Hero Dog is determined by nationwide popular votes and a panel of celebrity judges.

‘COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS 10TH ANNIVERSARY PREVIEW SPECIAL’
