Looks like Google is doubling down on their Google Home smart speaker to take on Amazon’s Alex. The new Google Home Mini is a smaller and cheaper version of their Google Home smart speaker.

According to DroidLife this new Home mini will take on the Echo Dot as a cheaper simple Google Home device to offer voice-controlled smart speaker.

The Google Home Mini will come in Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral colors. This Google Home Mini will give you full access to the Google assistant and is able to help you with your schedule, set reminders, grab news, and other Home-related inquiries. It’ll cost just $49 and, of course, sports Google Assistant.

According to reports, the new Google Home Mini will cost around $49 and, of course, sports Google Assistant.

Details are still thin but it looks like Google plans to announce the new device at their October event. It is also reported that we will get a new Google Pixel phone at the same event.
