Hulu has been aggressively adding channels, shows, and improving its new live TV streaming service. Now it seems it really wants to make sure you try out the service with a host of free offers.
The First Deal:
American Express is offering to pay your first six months of Hulu if you are an American Express card holder. (If you subscribe to the limited-commercials plan.)
Here is how this works: American Express is offering to give you a $50 credit if you spend a total of $50 or more on Hulu on your American Express card between now and May 23, 2018. You can sign up for any Hulu plan you want: limited commercials, commercial free, or its live beta.
Note that if you sign up for Hulu’s service at hulu.com/start/amex, your Hulu account will not be eligible for a free trial period and a $7.99 (Limited Commercials plan) or $11.99 (No Commercials plan) monthly subscription fee, plus applicable taxes, will apply after sign-up. Offer valid online only at hulu.com or hulu.com/start/amex. Eligible purchases applied towards this offer must be completed by 5/23/18. Offer is non-transferable. Must first add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem. Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express® online account. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 5/23/18, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer.
The Second Deal:
If you are a new subscriber you will find a ton of offers to get a 60-day free trial.
Here is one example of how you can get a 60-day free trial if you are a new subscriber. All you need to do is order a meal online at Dennys.com and pick it up in store for a coupon code for 60 days of free Hulu.
There are many great deals like this all over the place including frozen meals offering free Hulu.
