Future Today has announced a distribution expansion, beginning with the launch of Fawesome.tv, HappyKids.tv, and FilmRise on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex. The new partnership enables X1 and Flex customers to discover and watch Future Today’s premium content, including thousands of popular movies, TV shows and kids programming available from major studios and media companies.
Future Today launched its first OTT channel in 2011 and has since grown to operate over 700 channels. In total, the company manages a library of over 200,000 film, TV, and digital content asset spanning a wide variety of categories including entertainment, movies, food, lifestyle, animation, and kids.
The distribution expansion on X1 and Flex is only one piece of Future Today’s expansion plans for 2020. The company has also recently announced branded entertainment channels with companies such as Lego, Oddbods, and others, currently available on major streaming platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple, LG, Samsung, Vizio, Xbox, iOS and Android.
