Fubo TV reportedly added 30,000 subscribers in the 3rd quarter of 2018. With that, they say their revenue rate of $102 million in September 2018 vs just $28 million in September 2017. fuboTV has also seen time spent on the service per users jump by 364%.

“What our team of less than 150 employees has built – from the ground, up, despite our competition having access to tens of thousands of engineers alone – impresses me every day, and it should put the streaming TV industry on notice,” said David Gandler, fuboTV co-founder and CEO.  “Our September results and year-over-year growth are proof of our success. We have and will continue to deliver the most optimal quality experience for our customers and strong value to our investors, as we take the company to the next level.”

This all comes as fuboTV has announced several new features including 4K streaming. fuboTV is hoping by streaming events like the 2018 NLCS MLB Playoffs in 4K on both FS1 and FOX. fuboTV is the first live TV streaming services in the United States to offer 4K streaming. Well, others have announced plans for 4K none of them have launched a 4K streaming services.

The MLB Playoffs are not the only events fuboTV is streaming in 4K. fuboTV already has streamed the 2018 FIFA World Cup games in 4K HDR. Other events like College Football, English Premier League Soccer, and more in 4K as part of their 4K beta tests.

fuboTV also now lets subscribers add-on services like NBA League Pass making it easier to find all of their sports content in a single place. Yet fuboTV still faces an uphill battle as there are a growing number of competitors in the live TV streaming services market. Keep an eye on fuboTV as they fight for subscribers with services like Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, and DIRECTV NOW.
