Fubo, the sports-centric streaming service, announced a major overhaul of its subscription model today, consolidating its English-language offerings into two streamlined packages called Pro and Elite, but only the Pro shows on the website’s home page and information about additional packages. Priced at $84.99 per month, the Pro plan delivers over 219 channels that include many free channels, focusing on live sports, news, and entertainment, while introducing a flexible through optional add-ons. The move signals Fubo’s intent to simplify its lineup and cater to a broader range of viewers, all while keeping its core audience of sports fans in mind.

Update: Fubo confirmed to Cutters News that the Elite plan is still available but says they are experimenting with what it presents on the welcome page so for now for English only the Pro plan is shown even when you select view all plans. The Elite Plan will be found during signup if customers want a more expensive option with more channels. This brings Fubo’s offerings down to just two TV packages from the days they offered multiple English packages.

Gone are the multi-tiered English-language plans of the past. Instead, the Pro package serves as the foundation, boasting a robust channel selection that includes staples like ESPN, FS1, and NBA TV. For regional sports enthusiasts, Fubo is also offering an optional FanDuel Sports Network add-on, available in select markets, allowing subscribers to tack on their local RSN for an additional fee based on their zip code. Meanwhile, Spanish-speaking viewers can still opt for the standalone Latino package, priced at a budget-friendly $14.99 per month, featuring over 50 Spanish-language channels. Hidden at some point is the Elite package according to Fubo but its not promoted on its home page or when you select the more packages.

To give subscribers more control over their viewing experience, Fubo still has add-ons that can be layered onto the Pro plan. These are not new but give you options:

  • News Plus ($2.99/month): Extra news channels for those who want to stay on top of current events.
  • Fubo Extra ($7.99/month): A family-friendly boost with additional content geared toward kids and households.
  • Entertainment Plus ($9.99/month): A global mix of movies, music channels, and more, pulling in diverse programming from around the world.

The shift comes as Fubo continues to carve out its niche in the competitive streaming landscape, doubling down on affordability and flexibility. While the consolidation trims down the complexity of its previous tiered structure, it also positions Fubo to compete more directly with rivals like YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV, which have long offered single-plan simplicity. Sports fans, in particular, will appreciate the continued access to regional networks via the FanDuel Sports Network add-on, ensuring they don’t miss a single local game.

Current subscribers will be able to keep their current plans. For new users, the updated lineup is available now, complete with a 7-day free trial to test the waters. Whether you’re tuning in for the next big game or curating a custom channel list, Fubo’s latest move is all about keeping things simple—and keeping viewers in the driver’s seat.
