Nearly seven months after NBCUniversal channels went dark on Fubo due to failed negotiations, Fubo announced today that it has come to an agreement to bring the channels back.

Starting today, Fubo customers will once again have access to Telemundo and Universo, just in time for Spanish language coverage of the World Cup. NBCU’s English-language networks, including the new NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), regional sports networks, and new free channels, will launch in the coming weeks.

The return of Telemundo and Universo has perfect timing, as Telemundo will be the exclusive Spanish-language home for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Fubo subscribers will be able to watch all 104 matches on the channel, from June 11 to July 19.

Here are the channels returning to the service and where you’ll find them on Fubo’s plans.

  • NBC through Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and the Fubo Sports content service
  • Telemundo through Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and Latino plan
  • Bravo through Fubo’s base English-language TV plan
  • Universo through Fubo’s Latino Plan, Spanish-language Latino Plus add-on package and English-language Extra package
  • NBC Sports RSNs (Bay Area, Boston, California, Philadelphia) through Fubo’s base English-language TV plan
  • NBCSN through Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and the Fubo Sports content service

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of NBCUniversal networks to Fubo, given their robust portfolio of top-tier sports, entertainment and news,” said Todd Mathers, executive vice president, content strategy and acquisition, Fubo. “Our agreement with NBCUniversal underscores Fubo’s promise to bring consumers more programming, value and choice through multiple packaging options.”

The channels were dropped in November 2025 when Fubo said that NBCU was demanding fees “egregiously above those offered to other distributors.” The channels were dropped at 5 p.m. that day. NBC responded to the claims, telling Cord Cutters News that Fubo “offered the same terms agreed to by hundreds of other distributors.”

Discussions between the two companies ended in February and there has been no further update until today.
