Jomboy Media and Fubo teamed up to bring a custom 24/7 creator-led channel to the platform.
Jomboy Media is an entertainment company that focuses on creator-made sports content. The company is known for making personality-driven, must-watch content around sports moments, keeping it fun and accessible for a wide audience. Major League Baseball has a minority investment in the company, marking the first time a major league has partnered with a creator-led media company.
“Sports have always had incredible depth, but what’s changing is how fans experience them,” said Courtney Hirsch, CEO, Jomboy Media. “We’ve built a slate of creator-led content that can travel across platforms and generations, and this partnership with Fubo is about meeting fans wherever they choose to watch.”
Here are some highlights of what you’ll get with the new channel:
- We Got Ice: Bats become balls, balls become bats, and both become anything else – We Got Ice turns everything you think you know about the game upside down. Jack’s globally ranked pitching prowess, Zo’s commentary and determination, and both of their charismatic and colorful personas come together to deliver content that’s fun, funny, and just the right amount of absurd.
- JM Baseball Trivia: Home to a variety of baseball-inspired trivia competitions, invoking memories of the recent past, the full cast of JM Baseball personalities compete in game-show style competitions, determining who knows the most ball – with the audience encouraged to play along at home.
- The Warehouse Games: The Warehouse Games, Jomboy Media’s original creator-led sports league, takes backyard pick-up sports, places them under the lights, and adds in TV network-level production. It’s the only destination to find the perfect blend of original games, endless banter, reality TV drama, and high-stakes competition.
- Dugout Discussions: Every week, acclaimed sports commentator Chris Rose treks out to a Major League dugout to chop it up with big leaguers across a wide array of light-hearted topics. Each week also includes a longer, deep-dive interview. Past guests include Bobby Witt Jr., Mike Trout, and Mookie Betts.
“Jomboy Media is a breakout success in sports entertainment and we are proud to collaborate on a first for both of our platforms by creating a completely bespoke creator-led TV channel on Fubo,” said Pamela Duckworth, head of Fubo Studios, Fubo. “Our audience of baseball fanatics and sports enthusiasts are the exact type of fans who tune in to Jomboy’s marquee programs and now we can deliver their wildly popular content 24/7.”
The channel will be available on Fubo’s base plan. Content will also be available in Fubo’s on-demand collection. Select programming will stream on Fubo Sports Network, Fubo’s free channel.
