Do you have Frontier cable internet in your area? You can now bundle YouTube TV with it and save up to $15 a month for the first 12 months.

For some time now, Frontier has offered a $10 off a month for 12 months discount. In the past, you had to pay YouTube TV directly, but now Frontier will bundle YouTube TV into your monthly Frontier bill. This means you can now pay just one bill for the internet and TV plus a monthly discount on YouTube TV.

“Our partnership with YouTube TV makes it easier for customers to ditch cable,” said John Harrobin, Frontier’s Executive Vice President of Consumer. “We take our position as the un-cable provider seriously and are constantly listening to consumers. Many want one source for internet and TV, and that’s what this partnership is all about. With Frontier and YouTube TV, there’s no settling for anything but the best.”

For a limited time, Frontier’s fiber internet customers will receive $10 off the YouTube TV subscription for 12 months. Existing Frontier TV customers will receive $15 off for 12 months when signing up for YouTube TV and ditching their current Frontier TV service.

According to Frontier, its TV customers can save $400 or more on their TV service by switching to YouTube TV vs. cable.

“Frontier is a natural partner for YouTube TV, due to our shared dedication to customer choice and flexibility,” said Tony Archibong, Managing Director of Global Product Partnerships at YouTube. “With this next stage of our partnership, Frontier customers will be able to sign up and enjoy all the perks of YouTube TV such as unlimited DVR, the ability to watch on any screen, innovative features such as key plays and multiview, special pricing offers for NFL Sunday Ticket, and the option to cancel the service at any time, all on the same bill as their Frontier internet.”

This comes as Frontier has for some time now no longer offered its Frontier TV service to new customers. This push with YouTube TV seems to be one more effort to push customers away from its TV service and over to YouTube TV.

This news comes as a growing number of cable TV companies are shutting down their TV services. Some are offering their own streaming services others, like Frontier, are partnering with services like YouTube TV to replace their own TV service.
