Freeform released its annual 31 Nights of Halloween schedule, complete with nostalgic films and new horrors, giving spooky film fans something to look forward to next month.
The lineup includes Hocus Pocus, Monsters, Inc., Cruella, The Addams Family, and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, airing on the 30th anniversary of the film’s release. Freeform will also premiere Enchanto, ZOMBIES, and ZOMBIES 2.
For more than a quarter of a century, Freeform, a Disney-owned channel, has offered an enchanting lineup of Halloween favorites that starts October 1 and runs through the end of the month. Last October’s horror fest launched Freeform to the #1 spot among primetime cable networks among women 18-34 and #2 with adults 18-34, and it’s become a tradition for those wanting to get into the Halloween spirit.
“There’s something sentimental about these holiday classics that brings a real sense of comfort and nostalgia to people, and we look forward to celebrating this anniversary with another spirited lineup,” said Simran Sethi, executive vice president of programming and content strategy at ABC Entertainment and Freeform.
The Freeform app is available on Amazon Apple Store, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, Amazon FireTV, Google Chromecast, and iOS and Android devices.
