Free streaming news service NewsON is alerting users that viewing on the website is currently down while a new web experience is being developed. This could mean that NewsON viewers will soon get some new and returning features, including the ability to rewind live newscasts which NewsON shared that they were working on bringing back earlier this year.

Here’s the announcement from NewsON:

Thank you for being a loyal NewsON viewer of our site.

At this time, we are discontinuing this web streaming experience while we work on a new one.
We invite you to check out our new site at newson.us for the latest updates from our team.

You can continue to watch live local news with our app for iOS and Android mobile devices, Roku streaming players, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.

NewsON offers local news broadcasts from over 275 TV stations in 165 markets. Viewers can watch live news, previous newscasts, and news clips with no subscription and no login required.
