Worried couple reading a letter sitting on a couch in the living room at homeEarlier this year AT&T announced that DIRECTV NOW subscribers would be getting 6 to 12 months of HBO for free.

Well, now it looks like that is coming to an end for some as some DIRECTV NOW subscribers are reporting that they are seeing their bill for next month going up by $5 a month.

Here are the details of the offer as listed on the DIRECTV NOW Care website:

  • HBO is now included for 12 months for Go Big and Gotta Have It
  • $5 OFF for 6 months with Live a Little and Just Right

Here is our way of saying THANK YOU for being the best part of DIRECTV NOW! Starting today all existing customers with active DIRECTV NOW accounts prior to March 6, 2017 are eligible for a LOYALTY REWARD.

You can find out if your free HBO is coming to an end by visiting the Manage My Plan page on your DIRECTV NOW account. There at the bottom, you will see what your next bill will be. If that bill is $5 higher and you do not want HBO all you need to do is click on the Remove From Plan button bellow HBO.

If you have any questions about if your account will be charged for HBO now I would contact DIRECTV NOW customer service.
