Start planning your family movie night now. Freakier Friday is coming to Disney+ on November 12.

The body-swap sequel is a multigenerational comedy with plenty of nostalgia for fans of the original film from over 20 years ago. Fans will be happy to see some of the cast back on the screen, along some new faces and more heartwarming family moments.

About Freakier Friday

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprise their roles in this hilarious sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday. Blending heart, humor, and a dash of spellbound magic, Disney’s Freakier Friday marks the next chapter for on-screen mother and daughter Jamie Lee Curtis (Tess Coleman) and Lindsay Lohan (Anna Coleman), as the Coleman family’s story moves into a new generation.

Tess’s daughter Anna now has a daughter of her own and soon, a stepdaughter. As they navigate the joys and challenges when two families merge, lightning just may strike twice.

In addition to Curtis and Lohan, the “ultimate freakquel” also features Freaky Friday‘s Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, and Mark Harmon reprising their respective roles as Mama P, Jake, and Ryan. They’re joined by Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Sophia Hammons, and “Never Have I Ever” star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
