Frasier is coming back for a second season.

The new season of the rebooted 90s comedy sitcom starring Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+, according to a release from the media company.

The new season — to still be filmed in front of a live audience — will follow Crane after his return to Boston to “face new challenges, forge new relationships and – with hope – finally fulfill an old dream or two.”

Frasier is a love story, and I am very happy we will be allowed to continue it. I’m delighted that our partners at CBS Studios and Paramount+ are on board for another season, and I can’t wait for the fans to see what we have in store!” Kelsey Grammer, the show’s star and executive producer, said in a statement.

Frasier‘s second season will bring back Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Eve, and Anders Keith as David.

The original series, which ran for 11 seasons between 1993 and 2004, still holds the record for the most Emmy wins for a comedy series with 37 wins and 107 nominations.

The revival of Frasier premiered in October on Paramount+ and later on CBS, demonstrating the blurring lines between streaming and traditional broadcasting. It’s unclear if season two will do the same.

“The new series introduced Frasier to a whole new generation while reminding fans of Kelsey’s truly timeless portrayal of Dr. Crane. We’re so excited to see what the creative team and superb cast serve up for season two,” Jeff Grossman, the executive vice president of programming at Paramount+, said in a statement.

Paramount+ wasn’t immediately available for further comment.
