With FIFA World Cup 2026 just days away, FOX One continues to expand its reach 30,000 feet in the sky. The streamer and American Airlines have struck a new partnership that gives AAdvantage members in-flight access to the streaming service across all domestic flights, starting June 8.

Eligible travelers can get 24 hours of FOX One access for free, with no credit card required, up to seven times per calendar year while connected to American’s inflight Wi-Fi. The airline says the perk includes access to all 104 World Cup matches, along with FOX’s news and entertainment programming.

“Through American’s newest partnership, AAdvantage® members can experience the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM on FOX One wherever they are,” said Caroline Clayton, American’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is all about connection, energy and unforgettable moments and AAdvantage® members can follow the tournament across multiple flights, with more opportunities to watch the full slate of FOX sports, news and entertainment programming on FOX One.”

FOX Sports’ English-language coverage of every match during this year’s international soccer showcase will be available to stream live and on demand in 4K on FOX One. The service includes features such as multiview, personalized content, and Catch Up With Highlights. Plus, matches will also air across other FOX networks and platforms, including the FOX broadcast network, FS1, and Tubi.

“We are excited to partner with American to bring FOX’s full portfolio of best-in-class programming to viewers when they want it and where they want it, at home or in the air,” said Tony Billetter, SVP of Strategy and Business Development, Direct to Consumer, Fox Corporation. “We look forward to delivering this year’s most anticipated sporting event, the FIFA World Cup 2026, along with FOX’s leading news coverage and premium entertainment in our exclusive FOX One viewing experience to their most loyal travelers.”

American is not the only travel brand giving FOX One a boost ahead of the month-long tournament. Rival airline, Delta, already added FOX One to Delta Sync Wi-Fi, giving SkyMiles members 24-hour complimentary access on Delta Sync flights. And it isn’t just airlines giving fans a way to stream FOX One without paying full price.

Recently, Verizon launched one of its biggest offers of the year. For a limited time, new Verizon Home Internet customers can get three months of FOX One on the house, while Verizon myPlan customers can add FOX One for $15 per month. The myPlan offer slashes $5 off the usual $19.99 monthly price, giving subscribers a cheaper entry point for all things FOX.

Between American’s in-flight access, Delta’s onboard perk, Verizon’s free-months offer, and FOX’s full tournament coverage, there are a lot more ways to watch this summer’s biggest soccer event on your favorite device, whether in the air or on the ground.
