In a significant achievement for digital media, FOX News concluded January 2025 as the leading news brand on YouTube, amassing a record 410 million video views. According to data from Emplifi, this performance not only marks FOX News’ third consecutive month at the top of the news competitive set but also represents its second-best month on the platform to date.

FOX News outstripped its closest competitor, NBC News, by a substantial margin, leading by 145% with an astounding 242 million more views in January alone. This gap is the widest the network has ever seen over its competition. In comparison to December 2024, FOX News experienced a 74% surge in YouTube video views. Other notable networks’ performances included MSNBC with 153 million views, ABC News with 140 million, CNN with 137 million, CBS News with 62 million, and The New York Times trailing with 7 million views.

This digital success story follows a robust year for FOX News Digital in 2024, where it led all news brands in multiplatform views and minutes, showcasing growth across all key performance metrics according to data from Comscore. Alongside its digital achievements, FOX News Channel ended the month with its most-watched January in network history across total day viewership and continued its streak as the most-watched cable news network for the 23rd consecutive year, as reported by Nielsen Media Research.
