This Earth Month, Amazon’s Fire TV is turning binge-watching into a good deed.

From now through April 30, Amazon will donate $1 to the National Park Foundation for every hour you stream select content on a Fire TV device with up to a $100,000 donation cap. It’s all part of Amazon’s annual Stream It Forward campaign, now in its third year and presented in partnership with General Mills, Amazon shared in a blog post.

Amazon Fire TV allows users to stream from a number of apps, allowing viewers to not only participate, but also catch new content from a number of services including Hulu, Prime Video, Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, and more. It’s a simple, feel-good way to turn your movie night into a mini mission to help protect and enhance America’s more than 400 national parks. Whether you’re in the mood for a thrilling adventure, a family classic, or a documentary that highlights the beauty of the great outdoors, there’s something for everyone on the campaign’s watchlist.

Titles That Count Toward the Donation Include:

  • The Wild Robot (via Peacock)
  • Free Solo
  • The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
  • The Hunger Games
  • The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
  • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
  • The Legend of Butch & Sundance
  • MacGillivray Freeman’s National Parks Adventure
  • National Lampoon’s Vacation

All you have to do is stream these titles on your Fire TV device. Every hour watched equals a dollar donated to the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service.

Given the damage that fire is known to do to parks and forests, this is a chance to turn the tables. Alongside viewer in both 2023 and 2024, Stream It Forward hit the max donation goal. Amazon, General Mills, and the National Park Foundation are hoping to do it again in 2025.
