Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the Best New Streaming Device of 2021 (Cordie Awards 2021)

Earlier this month, we asked our readers to vote on their favorite streaming services and devices of the year. In the battle of best new streaming device introduced this year, the winner was Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max, with 27.1% of the votes.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max was introduced in October, at a price of $54.99. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports 4K UHD, HDR, and HDR10+ streaming, as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It comes with the latest Alexa Voice Remote and is Amazon’s first streaming stick to offer Live View Picture-in-Picture. Like the Fire TV Omni Series and 4-Series, Alexa Home Theater is enabled, so you can wirelessly connect with Echo Studio or a pair of Echo (4th Gen) smart speakers for immersive sound, including multichannel Dolby audio formats.

In second place for favorite new streaming device was the Roku Streaming Stick 4K with 23.6% of the votes. Next was the Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) with 21.6% of the votes, followed by the Roku Express 4K+ with 20.4%, Walmart’s onn. Android TV UHD Streaming Device with 6.1%, and the onn. FHD Streaming Device with 1.2%.
