FilmRise on Monday said it partnered with Samsung TV Plus Europe to bring the studio’s branded channels to multiple European territories across the continent for free, including the Andromeda, Forensic Files, FilmRise Free Series, and Highway to Heaven channels.
Daniel Gagliardi, vice president of digital distribution and business development for FilmRise, said the company is thrilled with the opportunity to work with Samsung TV Plus in Europe. The partnership marks FilmRise’s debut on Samsung Plus TV in Europe. FilmRise’s extensive content library lets it tailor content to the unique viewing preferences of different territories while also expanding its reach to new areas.
Audiences will have free access to FilmRise’s video library, curated into genre-specific channels in the Nordics, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, and Italy. FilmRise plans to launch a major expansion in additional European and international territories at a later time, though no details have been released.
