Filmrise has just announced the launch of the brand new free app, FilmRise Faith and Inspiration. Users can instantly stream hundreds of hours of free, religious series, holiday hits, inspirational movies and enriching family content. FilmRise Faith and Inspiration is available now on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart Tvs and LG Channels – all offering the app free, instantly, and with no subscription required.

The app features several page-to-screen adaptations directly from the Bible, featuring the animated films Pilgrim’s Progress, an engrossing tale of a pilgrim struggling with his burden. The film is based on John Bunyan’s masterpiece and features Jonathan Rhys Davies of Lord of the Rings.

In addition to feature films, the app also includes a selection of inspirational coming-of-age stories that appeal to all ages. Among stories is The Little Princess starring Shirley Temple, based on the novel by Francis Hodgson Burnett, a tale about one girl’s resiliency. Viewers can also dive into the classic tale of Heidi, with Jennifer Edwards as the notorious strong-willed orphan.

FilmRise is a Brooklyn-based film and television studio and operator of the FilmRise Streaming Network, the world’s largest independently owned portfolio of ad-supported streaming apps and free, ad-supported channels. Founded in 2012 by veteran producers and financiers Danny Fisher, Jack Fisher and Alan Klingenstein, FilmRise is a recognized market leader and innovator at the forefront of analytics-led curation and distribution. The company offers over 50,000 licensed and originally produced scripted and unscripted feature films and television episodes across all genres, including Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN and KITCHEN NIGHTMARES; hit culinary battle series IRON CHEF, and many more.

FilmRise Faith and Inspiration is a wonderful app to use for faith-affirmed media, featuring a library of critically acclaimed films, all at no cost to you. Available now across Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, and LG Channels.
