Exclusive: MagellanTV’s “War & Military Week” Starts Today & It Launches a New Free Channel on Samsung TV Plus

Today the streaming service MagellanTV announced that its second annual “War & Military Week” will kick off today. This week-long event will celebrate the men and women in the armed forces, both past and present.

MagellanTV is also launching a new channel on Samsung TV Plus.

Here is what you can expect in this week long event:

  • From the Civil War to World War I, World War II and the current conflicts in the Middle East, the titles featured on the “War & Military Week” playlist include Beyond the Myth: the SS UnveiledThe Day When: Pivotal Decisions of WWIIGenerals at War, WWII in the PacificLong March to FreedomCivil War: The Untold Story, The First Great Escape, Heroes of the Somme and more.
  • Throughout “War & Military Week,” MagellanTV will also make two of the titles on the playlist – Beyond the Myth: the SS Unveiled and The Day When: Pivotal Decisions of WWII– available to non-subscribers. This “freeview” period extends to Tuesday, June 6, the 79th anniversary of D-Day.

Today MagellanTV also announced the free channel “History & Warfare Now” has launched today on Samsung TV Plus across the US and Canada. “History & Warfare Now” highlights historical and modern-era war and military stories via in-depth documentary features and series.
