Fans with an ESPN Unlimited subscription will gain the ability to watch these events on any device through the ESPN App, complementing The CW’s nationwide broadcast availability. Since its launch in 2023, CW Sports has quickly established itself as a significant player in live sports broadcasting, offering more than 800 hours of premium content annually. Additional CW Sports programming includes weekly WWE NXT events on Tuesday nights, PBA professional bowling championships, AVP beach volleyball matches, and PBR bull riding team series competitions. For ESPN, the agreement represents an expansion of its direct-to-consumer streaming strategy. The ESPN App, accessible via ESPN Unlimited subscriptions, delivers a comprehensive package that includes more than 47,000 live events per year, on-demand replays, studio programming, and advanced viewing features. Subscribers benefit from multiview options, synchronized two-screen experiences, shortform vertical video, personalized content feeds, integrated stats, fantasy sports tools, betting information, and merchandise access. These capabilities are available on mobile devices and connected TVs, whether users subscribe directly or through participating pay-TV providers.
