The WNBA and ESPN have announced the league’s national broadcast schedule. With the 27th regular season is set to tip off on Friday, May 19. ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 will combine to broadcast 25 nationally televised games with ESPN+ simulstreaming two of them.
Some of the highlights of the 2023 broadcast schedule include Brittney Griner’s WNBA return, which will also stream on ESPN+, and all 12 of the league’s team will compete on the national stage with the New York Liberty’s 9 appearances leading the way. Other highlights include:
- ABC will air star-studded doubleheaders across two weekends in June beginning on Sunday, June 11 and Sunday, June 25
- The WNBA’s Skills Challenge and the Starry Three-Point Contest on Friday, July 14
- 2023 WNBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas on ABC, the first to air in primetime
- 27 playoff games, including the 2023 WNBA Finals
The league will announce its complete broadcast and streaming schedule at a late date, which will feature live games on CBS, Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, BA TV, Meta Horizon Worlds, and Twitter.
