Antenna usage among U.S. households has been on the rise in recent years. According to the Horowitz Research group’s State of Media, Entertainment, & Tech: Disruption & Change report, 18% of U.S. households have a digital television antenna, up from 14% in 2021. The report shows people ages 18-49 increased antenna use by 23% in 2022, and 58% of people use them to watch local news and sports.
Antenna Direct acquired Mohu in 2020 and merged to become one of the largest privately owned consumer electronics manufacturers in the U.S.
The contest ends in time for the winners to set up their new TVs and antennas by Super Bowl Sunday. Super Bowl LVIII kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on February 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a halftime performance by R&B artist Usher. This marks the first time CBS Sports will broadcast an NFL or college football game in 1080p and 4K HDR.
Super Bowl LVIII will stream on Paramount+, NFL+, Fubo, Hulu+ Live TV, and YouTube TV.
