Elon Musk, for months now, has been talking about how he wants X (formerly Twitter) to take on Twitch and YouTube. Over the last year X, has been building out its video streaming services to make that a reality. Now, Streamlabs, a leader in live streaming for creators, has added support to the social media plaform.

This new update will let creators use Streamlabs software to create a live stream that they can distribute on X. They can do this on the desktop or Streamlabs Mobile App to make live streaming on X easier than ever.

“X has long been a significant hub for gamers to connect and engage with their audience. We are happy to announce our support for creators on the platform as X embraces the exciting realm of live game streaming,” said Ashray Urs, Head of Product at Streamlabs. “Now, creators have an additional avenue to showcase their content and expand their audience.”

Streamlabs allows the creation of custom streams with graphics, multiple cameras, and more. Now that X supports stream labs, Twitch and YouTube streamers can, just by logging into their X accounts, stream to X as they would on YouTube and Twitch if they are verified X users.

For creators, X can now be as easy to use as Twitch or YouTube.
