Collegiate hockey fans will be excited to know that ECAC Hockey games have found a long-term streaming home. The conference announced that they have reached an agreement to extend their current relationship with ESPN+ as their streaming home through the 2028-29 season.
As the only Division I hockey conference with a full complement of men and women teams, each season the streaming platform will air more than 350 games from the 12-team conference.
For only $6.99 per month or $69.99 annually, fans can watch every regular-season and post-season game (conference and non-conference) hosted at an ECAC Hockey venue on ESPN+ with no blackout restrictions. The deal includes the annual women’s championship, and men’s championship in Lake Placid, N.Y. With the Disney Bundle, hockey fans can watch ECAC Hockey on ESPN+ and thousands of hit movies, shows, and classics on Disney+ and Hulu (w/Ads) for only $13.99/month, or upgrade to Hulu (No Ads) for $19.99/month.
“We’re truly excited to announce the extension of our deal with ESPN through the rest of this decade” said ECAC Hockey Commissioner Steve Hagwell”. “ESPN has been a great partner for ECAC Hockey, and we look forward to growing and enhancing our relationship for the benefit of our programs and fans.”
With the new deal, ESPN+ is continuing its mission to become the go-to place for hockey content. Recently, the streaming service announced that it will be the streaming home of the Premier Hockey Federation. As the “Home of Hockey,” ESPN+ is streaming over 1,000 NHL games including out-of-market contests.
