Netflix’s newest star-powered film Don’t Look Up has made a new record as the streamer’s most-watched movie in a single week. The Adam Mckay satire premiered Dec. 5 and had its best viewership during the week of December 27 – January 2, clocking 152.29 million hours watched globally.
That high viewership number puts Don’t Look Up in third place as the most-watched Netflix film in its first 28 days behind Sandra Bullock’s Bird Box and Red Notice which currently holds the title, but possibly not for long.

Don’t Look Up has an all-star cast lead by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as scientists who discover a planet-killing comet heading for Earth, and try to warn the President (Meryl Streep), her Chief of Staff (Jonah Hill), and the world through a media tour, but everyone seems un-phased. Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, and more also have supporting roles.
