As of Tuesday, the non-fiction streaming service Documentary+ is now available as a 24/7 linear FAST channel on Samsung TVs in the US. Now Samsung TV users can access the full curated hub of Documentary+’ films and series right from the app in the Samsung TV Plus smart hub with no login or subscription required.

“FAST channels are the most disruptive thing to happen to television since cable, and nobody has a bigger footprint or audience than Samsung,” said Bryn Mooser, Documentary+ CEO and Founder. “This is a big moment for Documentary+ and the nonfiction industry as a whole, with nearly every household in America having access to the world’s best documentaries for free.”

Discovery+ has a wide variety of content from genres including true crime, music documentaries, exposes’s and more. Since it launched in January 2021, the average user spends 80 minutes watching content on the platform.

In addition to Samsung Smart TVs, Documentary+ is available on smart TV channels including VIZIO, XUMO, LG Channel Plus and LG Channels as well as on-demand streaming apps including Apple TV, Amazon and Roku, mobile devices and www.docplus.com.
