What is the Disney Plus On Us promotion?
Verizon and Disney plus have come up with a fantastic promotion offering free Disney Plus to certain Verizon customers — Disney Plus On Us. It’s Verizon’s latest limited offer that lets you watch a full year of exclusive titles on Disney Plus for free. Disney+ costs $7.99/mo. after that.
Just sign up for or switch to an unlimited wireless plan to claim the promotion. You can also get the deal with several of Verizon’s internet plans. Once you’ve successfully enrolled in an eligible plan, you can add Disney+ to your account.
The length of time you have to sign up depends on which plan you choose. If you select Unlimited Wireless Internet, you have until 8/19/20 to sign up. New Verizon Fios Home Internet service subscribers have until 8/31/20, and the promotion ends on 10/31/20 for those opting for 5G Home Internet.
Am I eligible for the free Disney Plus Verizon offer?
If you’re an existing Verizon phone or internet customer, you might already be eligible for the promotion — Unlimited Mobile Wireless and 5G Home Internet plan subscribers can take advantage of the deal. If you have another Verizon plan, it’s easy to switch or upgrade to an option that qualifies for the offer. Contact Verizon directly to make the change.
Already purchased Disney Plus? You can still enjoy the offer. Your Disney+ subscription will be paused as soon as you enroll with Verizon. It’ll resume again after the 12-month promotion period ends. This is true even if you purchased an annual or multi-year plan.

If you’ve subscribed to a Verizon Unlimited Wireless plan on your phone, you’re eligible for free Disney plus. However, if you’re using a shared data, single device, or prepaid plan, you’ll need to upgrade to enjoy the promotion.
Eligible plans include the Verizon Unlimited, Go Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Get More Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, Start Unlimited, and Play More Unlimited plans. Wireless users subscribed to business accounts aren’t eligible for the promotion.
You can’t purchase the Verizon Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, or Above Unlimited plans anymore, but the promotion still stands for currently subscribed users.

Certain internet plans are also eligible for Disney+ On Us. If you subscribe to 5G Home Internet or Verizon Fios Home Internet, you can get in on the deal. However, business and prepaid accounts aren’t eligible. Once your internet has been installed, simply add Disney Plus to your account to start streaming.
Those with Fios Home Internet only qualify for the deal if subscribed to the 2-Year Triple Play or 2-Year Data + TV Double Play plan. Or, you can purchase the standalone internet data offer.
Something you should be aware of — your 12-month promotional period starts as soon as you accept the terms and conditions of your chosen plan, not when you sign up for Disney+. If you sign up for Disney+ two days after you subscribe to Verizon’s internet, you’ll lose out on two days worth of free streaming.

Can I bundle the Disney+ Verizon offer?
No. The Disney Plus On Us offer only includes Disney Plus. It doesn’t cover the Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu bundle.

You can stream Disney Plus on most major devices, including desktops, mobile telephones, smart TVs, and tablets. The service is also compatible with the following devices: Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromebook, Roku, and Xbox One. You can also stream Disney+ through your web browser.
What happens if I cancel my Verizon Internet or wireless plan?
If you cancel your eligible subscription and downgrade to a non-qualifying plan, you can keep Disney+, but the promotional offer will end. You’ll be charged $7.99/mo. going forward. If you signed up for an annual or multi-year deal with Disney+, your subscription will resume at the previous rate you paid.
If you’re in New Mexico, your Disney+ subscription will be canceled automatically.
