The initiative was announced live on Good Morning America and is backed by a cross-company commitment that includes content, products, music, live events, and community outreach. Disney Jr. and ESPN Team Up for First-Ever Preschool Sports Grants

As part of the campaign, ESPN and Disney Jr. have partnered with Every Kid Sports to launch a first-of-its-kind grant program for preschoolers from income-restricted families. Through ESPN’s “Take Back Sports” initiative and the Fall 2025 Every Kid Sports Pass, families can receive assistance covering registration fees for preschool sports, many of which will be first-time experiences for little athletes. More information about grant applications will be announced later this year.

More Ways To Play: Events, Concerts, and More

In addition to streaming options, Disney Jr. is taking the fun offline:

“Disney Jr. Let’s Play!” is also supported by expert guidance from the Child Mind Institute, highlighting the developmental importance of imagination and physical play for preschoolers. Whether it’s pretending to be a superhero or dancing with Bluey, the campaign turns screen time into springboards for creativity. Your preschooler’s next big adventure might just start with the remote.
