ESPN is bringing a fresh twist to its iconic SportsCenter franchise with the debut of SC+, a daily sports news show set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Monday, March 3, 2025. Announced on February 26, 2025, this fast-paced, streamlined program promises to deliver the day’s top sports moments, insightful commentary, and exclusive insider takes to all U.S. Disney+ subscribers. Anchored by familiar ESPN faces—Gary Striewski and Randy Scott on weekdays, and Hannah Storm and Jay Harris on weekends—SC+ aims to blend the brand’s storied legacy with the expansive reach of Disney’s streaming platform.

Airing live at 9 a.m. ET on weekdays, SC+ will spotlight the most electric sports highlights, built around the fan-favorite “SC Top 10” countdown. Each episode will offer a concise roundup of breaking news, key stories, and analysis from ESPN’s roster of top reporters, with editions available on-demand for 24 hours post-broadcast. Striewski and Scott, who also helm the 7 a.m. ET SportsCenter on ESPN, will bring their dynamic energy to the weekday slots, while Storm and Harris take the reins on weekends following their SportsCenter:AM duties. The show’s format is designed to appeal to both die-hard fans and casual viewers browsing Disney+ after a series binge.

“This is an absolute honor to take one of ESPN’s most-prestigious and historic brands in SportsCenter and infuse it with the energy and creativity afforded by Disney+,” said Mike Foss, Senior Vice President of Studio & Entertainment at ESPN. “SC+ endeavors to tell the best stories in sports daily in an unforgettable way.” Alisa Bowen, President of Disney+, echoed the excitement: “ESPN has long defined excellence in sports programming, and now Disney+ subscribers will have daily access to the most exciting sports news, moments, and stories.”
