Star Wars fans can watch the next exciting chapter of the franchise when Andor season 2 premieres on Disney+ on Tuesday, April 22. Today Disney released the trailer for the second and final season of the sci-fi series which you can watch HERE.

Created by Tony Gilroy, the highly anticipated second season will see the return of thief-turned-rebel spy Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). Fans will be treated to 12 episodes that will be released on Disney+ in four weekly chapters, each containing three episodes. The critically acclaimed series serves as a prequel to 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

“One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries,” Gilroy said in a statement about the final season. “They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”

Cast members who are returning with Luna in the second season are Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Denise Gough as Dedra Meero. Faye Marsay as Vel Sartha, Varada Sethu as Cinta Kaz, Elizabeth Dulau as Kleya Marki, James McArdle as Timm Karlo, and Muhannad Bhaier as Wilmon.

Gilroy wrote the first three episodes which fans can watch when the season premieres on April 22. Writing credits for the rest of the season are as follows: Beau Williams (Episodes 4-6), Dan Gilroy (Episodes 7-9), and Tom Bissell (Episodes 10-12).
