For over 24 hours, snow DISH Network’s website has been down, including its support pages. This outage also means customers can’t log into apps like ESPN to stream their games because DISH’s login pages are down. For now this outage seems to be limited to DISH as Sling TV and its AirTV website are all currently working.
Update around 8 am Eastern just over 24 hours since the outage started DISH Network’s website is back online.
DISH customers started to complain about the outage just over 24 hours ago on Reddit. This has left many to wonder what is happening as the TV service still works, but customers are unable to get support, pay bills, or log into streaming. The outage was first reported by The Desk.
This is the second massive outage as earlier this year, DISH suffered a security breach that also took down its websites. This time though, seems different as it only impacts DISH’s website and not its other sites like Sling TV and AirTV. For now, though we are left to just wonder what is happening as DISH has not released any statements about what caused this outage.
The good news for DISH customers is their satellite service is continuing to work right now. Unfortunately, though, if you are away from home, you will be unable to watch your favorite programs through DISH right now.
Cord Cutters News has reached out to DISH for comment and will update our story when we hear back.
