Have you been trying to visit DISH or Sling TV’s AirTV website recently? Been getting error pages with them you visit the websites? You are not alone, as for days, DISH and AirTV’s websites have been fully down or partially down.

On DISH’s main website, they have posted this message. “We are experiencing a system issue that our teams are working hard to resolve.”

Boost Mobile’s website that is owned by DISH has the following message:

Due to internal system issues some users may experience difficulty with their Boost Mobile accounts, paying their bill, or reaching Boost Care. Please be assured that if your account is affected, your wireless service is not affected by these issues and your service will not end due to non-payment. If your account is not affected, you may pay your bill by dialing 611, using the App or by visiting a store. Our teams are working hard to restore systems as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Currently, new DISH customers are unable to signup for new accounts. Instead, they are asked to enter their email address for customer support to reach out at a later date.

At this time, most services for DISH customers and Boost Mobile are still working. Also, Sling TV’s website and services that are owned by DISH seem to be unaffected by the outage that DISH is experiencing.

Outages are not unusual, but for a short time, DISH.com’s DNS services were wiped, suggesting an error, or it could have been done deliberately. Sometimes when a serious attack is underway, a website will discount its servers from the internet by changing its DNS settings.

A possible cyberattack is in line with a report from Bleeping Computer that claims an employee at DISH has confirmed they experienced a cyber attack. At this time, what kind of cyber attack is unknown, and it has not even been confirmed to be a cyber attack.

For now, DISH customers can still watch TV but accessing their account to pay bills etc, is not available.

For now, DISH customers can reach out on social media for help or submit their email and wait for DISH to get back to them.

Cord Cutters News has reached out to DISH by email and phone. At the time of posting, we have not heard back. DISH has not commented on the cause of the outage at this time.
