Discovery+ Launches Today: Here’s What to Know About the New Streaming Service

Today, Discovery launches its new streaming service Discovery+. The service is now live in the US, with distribution agreements with all major platforms, making it accessible to a wide audience. Discovery+ will globally expand to more than 25 key markets in 2021, including the Nordics, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

What is Discovery+?

Discovery’s new streaming service is an entertainment focused service for some viewer favorite TV brands – including HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, along with original, exclusive content. With a subscription, you’ll get unlimited access to more than 55,000 episodes of 2,500+ current and classic shows from Discovery’s brands from lifestyle and true crime to home improvement, food, adventure, and more.

How Much Does Discovery+ Cost?

Discovery+ subscriptions start at $4.99 per month. You can also choose an ad-free version for $6.99 per month.

Is There a Free Trial?

Yes. You can try out Discovery+ with a 7 day free trial.

What Devices Can I Watch On?

Discovery+ is available on iOS and Android, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, Xbox, Samsung Smart TVs, and on the web with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

The service will be coming later to Prime Video Channels.
