DIRECTV announced today that all DIRECTV streaming and MySports genre pack customers will get access to the new ESPN Unlimited streaming package when it launches this fall. Satellite and U-Verse customers will get access later in the fall.

The ESPN Unlimited plan that DIRECTV customers will get for no additional cost will give fans access to all of ESPN’s linear networks – ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes – in addition to ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, ESPN3, SECN+, and ACCNX. There will also be a Select plan available for $11.99 per month, which will include the content from ESPN+ without the extras from ESPN’s channels in the Unlimited plan.

Those with a DIRECTV Gemini device who subscribe to a Signature Package will gain access to the Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Basic at no extra cost. Later this year, DIRECTV also plans to make HBO Max and Peacock ad tiers available with select DIRECTV packages. Making these extra streaming services available through DIRECTV means that users will be able to watch more content within one app, rather than jumping from one app to another to search for and stream content.

Vince Torres, chief marketing officer at DIRECTV, said, “DIRECTV continues to make it simple for customers to access all their content in a seamless personalized experience without having to search across multiple apps. With unmatched choice and flexibility, our customers can control their entertainment and pay only for the programming they value.”
