DIRECTV on Tuesday said it added the Pursuit Channel, as well as two more The CW stations to its DIRECTV STREAM service.
The Pursuit Channel focuses on outdoor activities like On The Road Outdoors, Americana Outdoors presented by Garmin, and Dean Partridge’s Canadian Whitetail TV. Owner Pursuit Media LLC says it covers more homes than any other outdoor channels.
DIRECTV STREAM also added WYCW-CW in the Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina, markets, as well as KAUT-CW in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pursuit Channel was already a fixture for DIRECTV satellite and U-Verse customers, but makes it over to DIRECTV’s streaming service for the first time.
The two The CW stations, meanwhile, marks the latest additions as DIRECTV aims to bring more local stations to its streaming service subscribers. DIRECTV STREAM added a total of seven CW affiliates last month.
