You are not alone as we have confirmed that there was a widespread issue with new DIRECTV NOW accounts. Yet it looks like the glitch is slowly being fixed.

Reports about this issue started to pop up about a week ago on Reddit and social media. If you signed up for DIRECTV NOW, you would still get a popup in your app saying you need to reactivate your subscription in order to access the DIRECTV NOW app and use the DIRECTV NOW service. A growing number of readers have reported the issue to Cord Cutters News and said that chat support has been no help.

Now though it looks like the issue is starting to get fixed. Well, many are still reporting that after they signup they are still unable to use the service at first a few hours later the you are not subscribed messages go away. It seems that DIRECTV NOW is very slowly updating.

So if you have signed up but are still seeing a message saying you are not subscribed give it a bit. The message should go away after a few hours.
