For almost 2 months now we have been waiting for DIRECTV NOW to add The CW. Today it looks like they have started to roll out The CW networks across the United States.
A few hours ago The CW networks started to show up on some DIRECTV NOW subscribers apps. The stream still does not seem to be but it looks like DIRECTV NOW has started to add the back end data for The CW to their guides. That likely means we are a few hours or maybe a day away from The CW going live on DIRECTV NOW.
Yesterday the same thing happened with CBS Stations. Their program data showed up in searches and a few hours later CBS was live on DIRECTV NOW. Hopefully, the same thing happens with The CW today.
Now just because you may get a saying The is coming it may not in your area. Recently DIRECTV NOW emailed every DIRECTV NOW subscriber saying The CW was coming. Yet they have only confirmed that The CW owned and operated stations will be added at first.
The following are all The CW stations CBS owns:
- Atlanta
- Detroit
- Pittsburg
- Philadelphia
- Sacramento
- San Francisco
- Seattle
- Tampa
