Last week DIRECTV NOW updated their website to promote that some Viacom channels like Nick, MTV, BET, and Comedy Central would be coming to DIRECTV NOW. Now today is the day DIRECTV NOW says Viacom channels will be added.

DIRECTV NOW already had Viacom channels in its old grandfathered packages but when the new Plus and Max packages launched earlier this month they did not include Viacom channels. Now about a week after Viacom and AT&T struck a new deal DIRECTV NOW announced that Viacom channels are coming back for new subscribers.

DIRECTV NOW just confirmed to Cord Cutters News the new line-up for DIRECTV NOW Plus and Max:

PLUS and MAX

  • BET
  • Comedy Central
  • MTV
  • Nick
  • Nick Jr.
  • VH1

MAX only

  • CMT
  • Paramount
  • TV Land

This was first spotted by Rich Greenfield from BTIG Research.
