Last night AT&T started sending out a 3rd round of invites to their DVR. It still looks like you need to be both a DIRECTV NOW customer and an AT&T customer. The new DIRECTV NOW app is still only using the AT&T login to access DIRECTV NOW.

Make sure to check the email address you gave AT&T and look in your spam to make sure it didn’t end up there.
It still looks like AT&T is testing mobile devices as we have yet to hear from any Apple TV, Fire TV, or Roku users who are testing the DVR. AT&T says that this fall (likely late this fall) the DVR and new DIRECTV NOW app will start to roll out to all DIRECTV NOW subscribers.

Now, this is likely to be a staged rollout similar to how Hulu and Sling TV both slowly rolled out their new apps and DVR features to different devices over the course of a few months. AT&T has still not stated what devices will get the DVR feature first.
