Are you upset with DIRECTV NOW’s new $10 price hike? Was a $30 credit not enough to get you to stay with DIRECTV NOW? Now to get you to come back to DIRECTV NOW DIRECTV NOW is offering some customers $60 off DIRECTV NOW if you stay for six more months.
Last night multiple readers told Cord Cutters News that after they canceled DIRECTV NOW AT&T sent them emails offering them $10 off for six months if they sign back up. This comes days after DIRECTV NOW offered $30 in credits if you stay for 3 more months.
Here is what the DIRECTV NOW email said:
Changes are happening at DIRECTV NOW℠, but right now we’re offering you an exclusive chance to save $10 off your package for the next six months.
Just restart your account and enter your promo code to lock in your savings. It’s that easy.
And remember, because we’re no longer offering your Live a Little to new customers, if you allow your account disconnection to go through, you won’t be able to get it back. So, stick around, save and keep enjoying DIRECTV NOW!
From the looks of it, DIRECTV NOW is trying to stop the flood of service cancellations by offering great deals to keep you. AT&T is likely hoping that letting you keep your price for 6 more months will get you to stay even after the six month discount ends.
This deal is not available on the DIRECTV NOW website. You need to hope that AT&T emails you a one time code to get the six month $10 a month discount on your plan. One important thing to remember is if you cancel, AT&T says you will not get your old package back. You will need to pick from one of the new packages unless you are lucky and get this email allowing you to restore your account with your old package and the $10 discount for six months. So, we would not recommend canceling just to try and get a $10 discount as you may not be sent this discount.
