Did you just sign up for DIRECTV NOW or try to reactivate your DIRECTV NOW account but can’t use the service? You are not alone we have confirmed that there is a widespread issue with new DIRECTV NOW accounts.
Reports about this issue started to pop up a few days ago on Reddit and social media. If you signed up for DIRECTV NOW you will still get a popup in your app saying you need to reactivate your subscription in order to access the DIRECTV NOW app and use the DIRECTV NOW service. A growing number of readers have reported the issue to Cord Cutters News and said that chat support has been no help.
Now though we are getting reports that DIRECTV NOW is confirming the issue and saying they are working on it. So far the issue does not seem to affect everyone but if you are one of the unlucky few new DIRECTV NOW customers who can’t access your account you are sadly just out of luck for now.
