Recently DIRECTV NOW announced that their Q&A first scheduled for August 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time has been moved back to some unknown date in the future.

Here is what DIRECTV NOW posted on their forums about the delay:

There’s a lot of really cool things we’ve just announced and that we’re working on, so we’re rescheduling this event so we can provide a more comprehensive chat about new features. Don’t worry, we will let you know about the latest and greatest DIRECTV NOW updates. In the meantime, feel free to post your questions in the forums.

From reading their announcement it looks like DIRECTV NOW wants to wait until the DVR and new DIRECTV NOW app is live. Likely they don’t want to be answering the same when is the DVR coming question over and over again. (Something I can fully understand.)

We do know that AT&T recently launched their DIRECTV NOW DVR beta and new DIRECTV NOW app beta. According to AT&T, the new DVR feature is scheduled to launch to everyone sometime this fall. I would expect this Q&A to happen sometime after the public launch of their DVR or maybe even the new DIRECTV NOW app.
