Watching tv and using remote controlToday DIRECTV NOW quietly added the Ovation channel just a few days after they added UP Family TV, SNY, and Aspire TV to their lineup. We are unsure what package they are in but have confirmed that the Ovation channel is on the Go Big package.

Ovation on their website describes themselves as “Ovation is an independent television and digital media company dedicated to celebrating and supporting all forms of arts and culture. Ovation selectively curates and airs arts-related series, specials, documentaries and films. We also offer viewers an exciting lineup of Ovation original productions.”

Ovation programming includes shows like Boston Legal, The Art Of, The Wine Show, Hamilton: One Shot to Broadway, and many more. The Ovation channel first launched on April 21st 1996 and relaunched as a national network on DIRECTV on June 20th 2007.
