Here is what DIRECTV says will start rolling out today:
- One of the big changes will include a simple left-rail menu, a new more visually appealing homepage app carousels, and shortcuts to the most popular features.
- This is part of our focus on reinvesting in a more content-forward user experience making it easier and faster to get customers to their favorite shows, news, movies and sports, whether they’re available directly from DIRECTV or through a 3rd party platform.
- These features will be available to all DIRECTV customers with the latest device, which is available to new and current customers, in early Oct.
- We’ll continue to roll out new features through the end of the year and early next.
