Yesterday, DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM added two new channels with the additions of Tastemade Travel and Tastemade Home.

Here is how DIRECTV describes these new channels:

Tastemade Travel is described as a “trusted confidant in finding new adventures that make the local, global! Featuring off-the-beaten-path series with diverse hosts that you can trust, this streaming channel encourages viewers to stop scrolling and start hunting for ways to make the everyday special.”

Tastemade Home, is a  “gathering place for a new generation of homeowners and renters alike. A streaming channel where award-winning design shows and DIY-focused programming inspires viewers to make their home a vibe and empowers them to be confidently imperfect.”

Tastemade Travel can be found on channel 4358, and Tastemade Home is on channel 4359.

This comes as DIRECTV recently announced it would also be adding the Wllow TV channel on October 3, 2023.

Here is how Willow TV describes this Channel:

Willow is the premier broadcaster of cricket in the United States and Canada. Willow produces and distributes Willow TV, 24×7 high definition television and digital video channels dedicated to cricket. Willow is the official broadcaster of various cricket Boards, including The International Cricket Council (ICC), Cricket Australia, England Cricket Board, Cricket South Africa, Pakistan Cricket Board, Sri Lanka Cricket, Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL), Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and others.

Willow TV is already available on DISH, Sling TV< Spectrum, Fios, Xfinity, Optimum, and Google Fiber.

DIRECTV earlier this month announced that it will begin introducing new features for DIRECTV customers using latest Gemini and Gemini Air devices and will be extending support to streaming players like Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more in the near future.

Here is what DIRECTV says will start rolling out this month:

  • One of the big changes will include a simple left-rail menu, a new more visually appealing homepage app carousels, and shortcuts to the most popular features.
  • This is part of our focus on reinvesting in a more content-forward user experience making it easier and faster to get customers to their favorite shows, news, movies and sports, whether they’re available directly from DIRECTV or through a 3rd party platform.
  • These features will be available to all DIRECTV customers with the latest device, which is available to new and current customers, in early Oct.
  • We’ll continue to roll out new features through the end of the year and early next.
